It’s been quite sometime that I posted something here, so here goes……
On December 1st, 2013 me along with some friends went to the Shilpakala Academy(National Academy for Arts in Bangladesh) for a Jazz concert, where a German Jazz group was playing. When we arrived, we found that an acrobatic troupe from Goalanda, a district near the river Padma were performing at an open space at a lower floor of the academy. It was a pleasant surprise!
We found the back entrance and went in the backstage area where the performers were preparing themselves before they went up stage. The troupe was very welcoming and let us shoot some photos of their preparation and makeups.
